1. From Condo to Vermont via LaFontaine Tunnel

Short version

• Take right on Hochelaga. Follow signs to LaFontaine Tunnel. Continue straight 5.3 miles after exiting tunnel to exit 98. Right on 98. Follow signs to Vermont 89.

Long version

1. From Avenue Bennett go Right on Hochelega to Dickson (see big green ramp sign for 40, 25, 20 and sign to LaFontaine Tunnel).
2. Right on Dickson to 1st Light.
3. Left at 1st light, following signs to LaFontaine Tunnel
4. Bearing right to 25, 20, continue through tunnel
5. Once through tunnel, continue on main drag 5.3 miles and go right at Exit 98 (Sorel, Tracy, 30/10). Follow Chateaguay signs 30 West or Ouest, right.
6. Follow signs to 89 Vermont.

This condo is located in the historic and quiet Maisonneuve area, a low money, vastly French-speaking part of Montreal. Unlike downtown or old Montreal, many citizens speak very little English in this area. This makes it a very interesting place for those slacking off with their French studies.
