2055 Avenue Bennett 102 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Stayover Plans

See my Location Calendar in case you'd like to visit Avenue Bennett.

Telephone

There is no telephone in the condo but it has high-speed Internet so if you have a notebook and Skype or Vonage, incoming and outgoing calls are possible. A public phone is available nearby at Marche Maisonneuve. Short-term cell phone rentals are available as well.

Door Keys

There is a $28 door key replacement fee.

Parking

Avenue Bennett is a one-way street running south to Ontario Street. Street parking is almost always available. However, except for Dec to Mar, it's tricky to know which side of the street to park on between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Make a mistake and it will cost you $42.00 CND. The regulations require that we alternate the side of the street we park on during weekdays except for Wednesday. Ask for details!

City Transport

The quickest way to reach any part of the city without driving is to walk five minutes west on Ontario St. to the corner of Ontario and Pie IX to catch the bus running five minutes north to the Pie IX Metro Station. From the Metro, the entire city becomes your playground for the day.

The cost is $2.50 for the bus ticket and if you request a transfer from the bus driver, you can then use the transfer to ride the Metro for free. (Just slide the transfer ticket through the Metro ticket machine.) If you ride the Metro, get a free bus transfer ticket in the Metro stations and use that for your next bus ride. Transfers expire after an hour or so.

Bike and Blades - Rentals

I'm searching for a place to rent bikes and roller blades.

Supermarket

There is a new SuperC supermarket one block north on Pie IX.
